This policy explains what information Hypezila collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers the cookies used for advertising, which is how the site is funded.

Hypezila (https://hypezila.com) is operated by the Hypezila team. We try to collect as little personal information as the site can reasonably run on. This policy describes what is collected when you visit.

What we collect

When you read Hypezila, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log information: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time. This is ordinary web server data used to keep the site running, diagnose problems, and guard against abuse. The site is hosted by Aitch Systems, and these server logs are retained for up to 30 days.

If you contact us by email, we keep your message and address so we can reply and follow up. We do not use those addresses for marketing.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Hypezila itself uses only the cookies needed for the site to work and to remember basic preferences. The cookies that carry the most data on this site are set by our advertising partners, described next.

Advertising and third-party cookies

Hypezila is supported by advertising. When ad serving is active, advertising is provided by Google through the Google AdSense program and may include other partners.

Hypezila does not currently run a third-party analytics service. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name the service and describe what it collects before it is switched on.

Children

Hypezila is a general-audience gardening site and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top. Material changes to how advertising or data collection works will be described here before they take effect.
