About Hypezila

Hypezila is a gardening guide for people who want their plants to live, not a catalogue of everything that could theoretically be done.

Most gardening advice assumes you already garden. It skips the part where you are standing in a yard, or over a sad pot on a windowsill, with no idea where to start. We write for that moment: the first bed, the first houseplant, the first time a plant turns yellow and you have no idea why.

How these guides are written

Every guide starts from a real question a gardener actually asks, then works through it in plain steps. We prefer a few plants done well over a long list of options. Where advice depends on your climate, soil, or the variety you are growing, we say so rather than pretending there is one right answer.

We do not invent studies, quote experts who do not exist, or promise results we cannot stand behind. When something is a rule of thumb, we call it a rule of thumb. When a job can wait, we say it can wait.

Independent and reader-funded

Hypezila is run by the Hypezila team. The site is supported by advertising, which is kept separate from the editorial content and clearly labelled wherever it appears. Advertising never decides what we cover or what we recommend. You can read how we handle data and cookies in our privacy policy.
